it was important not creating an identifiable as such.
Minimalist forms, geometric and smooth. This parallelepiped is made of french elm wood topped with a marble cover from Thasos island. It doesn't suggest the content, or would expose it as a treasure. It is a sustainable messenger container protecting our memories, loves mails or jewelries without revealing the contents. Inside space is accessible through a colored pencil that is slid to one side to raise-up the cover .
Inside is filled of soft white sand (from the quarries of the Paris region), is a willingness to work around the feeling of joy that we get when we find something that is dear to us, after a time past. Thus, the act of plunging his fingers into the sand to go to our memories, give a sensuality opening another dimension to nostalgies pleasure. Sharp edges produce a pure volume monolithe view added to physical weight.
